A competition winning housing group for Scotland’s Housing Expo 2010.

We designed this group of social housing (for sale through shared equity) to encourage micro-community and the happiness of the inhabitants. Each of the 3 houses has open aspects to the south to capture sunlight and enclosure to the north with carefully placed slot windows to capture views of the mountains to the north when sitting up in bed. Designed to incorporate easy to use, passive heating and ventilation systems, the one bedroom flats have projected heating bills of £50 per year.
